طبيب (Tabīb) – Doctor
A qualified practitioner of medicine; a physician.
أين يمكنني إيجاد طبيب؟ (Ayna yumkinunee ijad tabīb?) – Where can I find a doctor?

مستشفى (Mustashfa) – Hospital
A health care institution providing patient treatment with specialized medical and nursing staff and medical equipment.
أحتاج إلى الذهاب إلى المستشفى. (Ahtaaj ilaa althahab ila almustashfa.) – I need to go to the hospital.

صيدلية (Saydaliyya) – Pharmacy
A shop or hospital dispensary where medicinal drugs are prepared or sold.
أين تقع الصيدلية الأقرب؟ (Ayna taqa’ assaydaliyya al’aqrab?) – Where is the nearest pharmacy?

شرطة (Shurṭa) – Police
The civil force of a national or local government responsible for the prevention and detection of crime and the maintenance of public order.
نحن بحاجة إلى الشرطة. (Nahn bihaajah ila ashshurṭa.) – We need the police.

إسعاف (Is’āf) – Ambulance
A vehicle specially equipped for taking sick or injured people to and from the hospital, especially in emergencies.
اطلب إسعاف من فضلك! (Itlob is’āf min faḍlik!) – Please call an ambulance!

حريق (Ḥarīq) – Fire
A process of combustion characterized by the presence of flame, especially the destruction of something (usually for an adverse reason).
هناك حريق في المبنى. (Hunāk ḥarīq fee almbanā.) – There is a fire in the building.

خطر (Khatar) – Danger
The possibility of suffering harm or injury; risk or peril.
إنه خطر على الأطفال. (Innahu khatar ‘alā al-aṭfāl.) – It’s dangerous for the children.

مخرج الطوارئ (Makhraj aṭ-ṭawārī) – Emergency Exit
A special exit for emergencies such as a fire, which can be used to quickly evacuate a building in a crisis.
أين يقع مخرج الطوارئ؟ (Ayna yaqa’ makhraj aṭ-ṭawārī?) – Where is the emergency exit?

نجدة (Najda) – Help
The action of helping someone in distress; assistance and support in times of hardship or distress.
أحتاج نجدة، من فضلكم! (Aḥtāj najda, min faḍlikum!) – I need help, please!

سلامة (Salāma) – Safety
The condition of being protected from or unlikely to cause danger, risk, or injury.
السلامة للجميع ضرورة. (As-salāma liljamī’ ḍarūra.) – Safety for everyone is a necessity.

إنذار (Inẓār) – Alarm
A warning of danger, usually a loud sound or flashing light.
سمعت إنذار الحريق. (Sami’tu inẓār al-ḥarīq.) – I heard the fire alarm.

زلازل (Zalāzil) – Earthquakes
A sudden and violent shaking of the ground, sometimes causing great destruction, as a result of movements within the earth’s crust or volcanic action.
كيف يمكننا الاستعداد لـالزلازل؟ (Kayfa yumkinunā al-isti’ēdad li-zalāzil?) – How can we prepare for earthquakes?
