Do not sell or share my personal information

This page is for residents of California, Virginia, and the other U.S. states listed in Section 14 of our Privacy Policy whose comprehensive consumer privacy laws apply to TalkPal, Inc. (together, the “State Laws”), including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA).

If you are a resident of a U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, then you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. Please review our full Privacy Policy to understand the categories of personal information we collect, the sources of such information, how we use it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share or disclose information for a business or commercial purpose.

Opt-Out

The categories of personal information that TalkPal, Inc. may have disclosed to third parties in the preceding twelve (12) months for a business or commercial purpose are: (i) Identifiers (e.g., name, email address, IP address, device identifiers), (ii) Commercial information (e.g., transaction identifiers and payment status), (iii) Internet or other electronic network activity information (e.g., browsing behavior, interactions with advertisements), (iv) Geolocation data (e.g., approximate location derived from IP address), (v) Audio, electronic, visual, or similar information (e.g., audio processed in real time by speech recognition vendors; Talkpal does not retain audio recordings), and (vi) Inferences drawn from collected personal information. TalkPal, Inc. does not sell personal information. In addition to the disclosures above, the categories of personal information that TalkPal, Inc. ‘shares’ (as defined under the CCPA/CPRA) for cross-context behavioral advertising are: Identifiers, Internet or similar network activity, Geolocation data, and Inferences (a modeled estimate of subscription value sent together with conversion events).

The categories of third parties to whom we may have disclosed this information include: advertising networks, advertising platforms, data analytics providers, and social networks.

If you would like to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA), or to opt out of targeted advertising (cross-context behavioral advertising), please use the Cookie Preferences link in the website footer to disable Marketing/Targeting cookies. You may also opt out by enabling the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser or extension. Where required by law, we treat GPC as a valid request to opt out of sale/sharing for that browser and device. If you have questions or need assistance, contact privacy@talkpal.ai.

Access

If you would like to access the personal information that TalkPal, Inc. processes about you, please submit your request to privacy@talkpal.ai.

Deletion

If you would like to delete the personal information that TalkPal, Inc. processes about you, please use the account deletion option in your profile or submit your request to privacy@talkpal.ai.

Other Rights

If you would like to exercise other rights that may be available to you under applicable law – such as the right to correct inaccurate personal information, the right to data portability, or the right to opt out of profiling – please submit your request to privacy@talkpal.ai. You also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of your privacy rights. We will respond to all requests as soon as possible. If we require additional time, we will notify you of the extension within the initial 45-day period.
