Modal Verbs Exercises For Slovenian Grammar

Modal Verbs in Slovenian grammar, known as “modalni glagoli,” are used to express necessity, possibility, wish, ability or permission. Unlike in some languages, they can stand alone as the main verb in a sentence. Common Slovenian modal verbs include “morati” (must, have to), “hoteti” (want), “smeti” (be allowed to), “znati” (know how to), “zmoči” (can), and “imeti” (have).
