Verbs - Hindi Grammar

Verbs exercises in Hindi grammar are pivotal for mastering the language. These exercises pertain to verbs which, in Hindi grammar, are known as ‘Kriya’. Kriya expresses an action performed by a noun or pronoun. Hindi verbs generally agree with their subjects in gender, number, and person.

Hindi grammar provides different types of verb exercises. In conjugation exercises, the students need to change the verb based on the object’s gender and plurality. For example, in Hindi, the verb ‘khana’ (to eat) can be conjugated as ‘khati’, ‘khata’, ‘khati hai’, ‘khata hai’ etc., depending on the context and the noun it is linked with.
