Simple Sentences Exercises For Romanian Grammar

Simple sentences in Romanian grammar follow a similar structure to those in English – subject, verb, and object. The verb agrees in number and person with the subject, and the object usually comes after the verb. Romanian does, however, have postpositive definite articles (that is, the equivalent of “the” comes after the noun it refers to, not before). Thus, the substantive can be before the adjective or after it. This provides more flexibility but may also add a little complexity for language learners. Now, let’s practice this knowledge by filling in the blanks in the following two exercises.
