Infinitive Exercises For Bosnian Grammar

Exercise 1: Infinitive Exercises for Bosnian Grammar

The infinitive in Bosnian grammar is a verb form that usually isn’t conjugated and typically ends in “-ti” or “-ći”. Infinitives are used to indicate a desired or potential action. In Bosnian, infinitives are often used by themselves or with auxiliary verbs like ‘moći’ (can) and ‘htjeti’ (want). In this lesson, we are going to practice the use of infinitives in Bosnian through a series of exercises. Each exercise contains a set of sentences in Bosnian, with the infinitive verb replaced by an asterisk (*). You will need to fill in the blanks with the correct verb infinitive form. Next to the right answer, a one-word cue in English is provided to help you understand the context of the sentence.
