In Welsh grammar, ‘Proper Nouns’ or ‘Enwau Priodol’ are used in a similar way to English, they identify specific people, places, or things and are always capitalized. Much like in any other languages, Proper Nouns in Welsh are always specific names. They can refer to people names (e.g., Dafydd, Rhian), place names (e.g., Caerdydd, Bangor) among others.
