In Thai grammar, an Intransitive Verb (คำกริยาไม่มีกรรม, kham kriya mai mee kam) is a type of verb that does not need a direct object to complete its meaning. In other words, the action described by the verb does not pass from the subject to an object. It only involves the subject, hence, it is untransferable. This kind of verb often represents actions or conditions that a subject performs or experiences, such as sleeping, running, laughing, etc.
