Abstract Nouns in Kannada grammar are called “เฒ
เฒฎเณเฒฐเณเฒค เฒจเฒพเฒฎเฒชเฒฆเฒเฒณเณ”. These are non-physical, uncountable nouns often related to a concept, an idea, emotion, or a quality. They don’t have a physical presence, but can be felt or understood. They are generally expressed in feelings or states and cannot be seen or touched. For instance, ‘freedom’ [เฒธเณเฒตเฒพเฒคเฒเฒคเณเฒฐเณเฒฏ], ‘love’ [เฒชเณเฒฐเณเฒคเฒฟ], ‘knowledge’ [เฒเณเฒเฒพเฒจ] etc., are all examples of abstract nouns.
