Talkpal offers various progress tracking measurements, showing you how you’re advancing in your language skills. You can track statistics such as total learning time, average practice time, average pronunciation score and the number of practice sessions completed. Additionally, you can track your ongoing and longest streaks, as well as view a streak calendar to keep you motivated on your learning journey.

We also have Achievements – special badges you receive for reaching certain milestones.

For example:

• Streak Badges: Earn badges by maintaining exercise streaks for 7, 15, and 30 days.
• Mode Badges: Unlock unique badges for each exercise mode by completing 60 minutes in each one.

There are a few important points to keep in mind regarding when daily feedback is generated:

1. Feedback is generated for all learning modes.
2. To receive feedback, the exercise session must last at least 3 minutes per language.
3. If you change the interface language, previous feedback will not be visible unless you switch back to the original language you were using at the time the feedback was generated.

In the Daily Feedback section, you can view a detailed breakdown of your performance. Which includes:

• Score Explanation – Measured based on different criteria such as grammar usage, vocabulary complexity, etc.

• Problematic Topics – List of grammar topics where you struggled the most during the session. 

This section is designed to give you personalized insights and help you track your progress over time.

Practice Score: The Practice Score is your overall score based on sessions in active practice modes, including Chat Mode, Call Mode, and Roleplays. It provides a summary of your performance across multiple sessions, helping you track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Overall practice time: Overall Practice Time is the total amount of time you have spent practicing across all modes. It helps you track your learning progress and stay motivated.

Progress by Levels: This shows your advancement in language skills, indicating which level you are currently at and what you need to achieve to progress to the next level.

Minutes Left Until Next Level: This feature indicates the amount of time you need to spend practicing before you reach the next level in your language learning journey.

Total Learning Time: This tracks the cumulative amount of time you have spent actively learning the language, giving you a sense of your overall commitment.

Average Practice Time: This displays the average amount of time you spend on each practice session, helping you understand your typical engagement level.

Number of Practice Sessions Completed: This counts the total number of practice sessions you’ve completed, allowing you to see your consistency in using the app.
