Perfect Progressive - Indonesian Grammar

To form the perfect progressive tense in Indonesian, we use the auxiliary verb “telah” or “sudah” with the verb “sedang” to indicate that the action is in progress. For example, “Saya telah sedang makan” translates to “I have been eating” in English.

The perfect progressive tense can also be used to describe an action that was ongoing in the past and has just been completed. In this case, we use the auxiliary verb “baru saja” with the verb “selesai.” For example, “Saya baru saja selesai mengerjakan tugas” translates to “I have just finished doing the assignment.”
