It is important to note that the articles in Catalan can contract or modify depending on the context, such as el + es becoming “s'” in certain cases. Additionally, articles are also used in conjunction with prepositions to determine the prepositional articles (articles preposicionals), which are essential for understanding the syntax and structure of Catalan sentences.
