In Hindi grammar, adverbs are used to describe the manner in which an action takes place. For example, the word धीरे (dhīre) means “slowly”. So, if we say वह धीरे चलता है (vah dhīre chaltā hai), it means “He walks slowly”. Similarly, बहुत (bahut) means “very”, as in वह बहुत खुश है (vah bahut khush hai), which translates to “He is very happy”.

In addition to manner, adverbs in Hindi also indicate time, place, and degree. Some common examples include अभी (abhī) meaning “now”, यहाँ (yahāṁ) meaning “here”, and बहुत (bahut) meaning “very”.

It is important to note that adverbs in Hindi can be formed from adjectives by adding the suffix -ता (-tā) to the root word. For instance, अच्छा (acchā) means “good”, whereas अच्छाता (acchātā) means “well”.
