The Zero Article is an important component of the Urdu grammar. Unlike English, Urdu doesn’t necessarily require an article, definite or indefinite, before nouns. This absence of an article is referred to as the “zero article”. This concept might be new to English speakers learning Urdu because in English, the use of an article is often compulsory before a noun. Being familiar with the usage of the zero article in Urdu can greatly enhance the fluency of a language learner.
