In the Indonesian language, Descriptive Adjectives or “Kata Sifat Deskriptif” are used to describe or express characteristics, qualities or conditions of an object, person, animal or event. They add information about the nouns they modify, providing details and giving us a deeper understanding of the subject being described. Descriptive adjectives in Indonesian grammar may vary their placement in sentences, can be used with or without a linking verb, and often don’t change forms in terms of gender, number or tense.
