In Kazakh grammar, Demonstrative Adjectives are words that identify or point out particular things or people. They always go before the noun they are modifying. There are primarily three forms used in Kazakh. These are ‘Bul’, ‘Osı’ and ‘Sol’, which can be translated to “this”, “that” (near) and “that” (far) in English respectively. It’s important to remember that in Kazakh language, demonstrative adjectives agree with the noun they are referring to in number and case.
