Intensive Pronouns Exercises For Tagalog Grammar

Exercise 1: Fill in the blanks with the appropriate intensive pronoun

Intensive Pronouns in Tagalog grammar, also known as reflexive pronouns or “pabalik” in Tagalog, are used to emphasize the subject in the sentence. These pronouns often end in “-in” (for singular subjects) or “-an” (for plural subjects). Notably, intensive pronouns add emphasis to the subject of the sentence, reinforcing the completed action or state of being back towards the subject itself. It intensifies the subject that usually does the action for itself or benefits from its own action.
