In Norwegian grammar, indefinite articles are used to signify that a noun is not specific. In English, these are equivalent to ‘a’ or ‘an’. These articles in Norwegian grammar are ‘en’ for masculine nouns, ‘et’ for neuter nouns, and ‘ei’ for feminine nouns. Unlike English, these indefinite articles are placed after the noun they describe.
