Noun declension in Croatian grammar is an important aspect of understanding the structure and function of the language. Declension is the modification of nouns according to their grammatical cases, genders, and numbers. Croatian nouns have three genders (masculine, feminine, and neuter), seven cases (nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, vocative, locative, and instrumental), and two numbers (singular and plural). Learning these declensions helps students to communicate accurately and effectively in Croatian, as the meanings of sentences can change depending on the case used.
