Verbs - Urdu Grammar

Verbs are an essential part of Urdu Grammar. They serve as the action words in a sentence, expressing actions, states, or occurrences. In Urdu, verbs are known as “fi’l” and they play a vital role in constructing sentences.

Urdu verbs are characterized by their ability to change their form to indicate the tense, person, and number of the subject. They can be conjugated into various forms, such as past, present, and future tenses, as well as singular and plural forms.

Urdu verbs also have the ability to express different moods and aspects, including the indicative, imperative, and subjunctive moods. This allows for a wide range of expressions and nuances in Urdu communication.
