Pronouns and determiners play an important role in the Kazakh language, as they help to specify and provide information about nouns. Pronouns are used to replace nouns and can be categorized into personal, possessive, demonstrative, interrogative, and indefinite pronouns.

Personal pronouns in Kazakh show person, number, and gender. They include pronouns for first, second, and third persons. Possessive pronouns, on the other hand, indicate possession and are used to show ownership. They are formed by adding possessive suffixes to the personal pronouns.

Determiners are used to specify or identify nouns. These include articles, demonstratives, quantifiers, and indefinite determiners. Articles in Kazakh are used to specify definiteness and can be either definite or indefinite. Demonstrative determiners indicate proximity and can be used to point out specific objects. Quantifiers are used to identify the quantity of the noun, while indefinite determiners indicate an unspecific identity or quantity.
