Uncountable Nouns in Malay, also known as “kata benda tidak terbilang”, are nouns in Malay language that cannot be quantified directly by an numeral without a unit of measurement or counting system. As in English, these refer to substances (like “air” or water), abstract ideas (like “informasi” or information), or collective nouns (like “gula” or sugar). They cannot be preceded by a number directly, instead a measure word, also called a classifier, is used. These exercises will help you understand and practice uncountable nouns in Malay.
