The Third Conditional, also known as the Past Unreal Conditional, is used in Persian language similar to English to talk about imaginary or hypothetical situations in the past. In Persian, like in English, it consists of two clauses, the ‘if’ clause and the ‘main’ clause. It is generally formulated as “Agar + past perfect verb (in the ‘if’ clause) + past conditional verb (in the ‘main’ clause)”.
Exercise 1: Fill in the blanks with the correct form of the verb in parenthesis
