Present Progressive Exercises For Serbian Grammar

Exercise 1: Fill in the blanks with the correct form of verb in present progressive.

Introduction: The Present Progressive in Serbian grammar denotes actions that are happening right now or in the near future. Serbian language uses the auxiliary verb “biti” (to be) in present tense with the participle of main verb to form present progressive tense. Its use, however, isn’t as widespread as it is in English and it’s mostly seen in the spoken language.
