Exercise 1: Fill in the blanks with the Present Progressive form of the verb


In Belarusian grammar, the Present Progressive tense is used to express actions that are happening at the moment of speaking or actions that are ongoing. It is formed by using the present tense of the verb “to be” (быць) and the present participle of the main verb, ending in -чы or -чы/-чка for regular verbs. The Present Progressive tense can be used with both affirmative and negative statements to describe actions in progress.
