In Persian grammar, prepositional phrases (Dar Zabane Parsi, اصطلاحات حرف اضافه ای) are very common and serve to provide detailed information in a sentence. They are used to show location, time, direction, cause, and manner. A prepositional phrase begins with a preposition (حرف اضافه) and ends with a noun or pronoun, which is called the object of the preposition.
