Prepositional Phrases in the Malay language, known as “Frasa Sendi Nama”, are used to clarify direction, location, time, and other relationships between words in a sentence. Similar to English, prepositions in Malay add important context and detail to the sentences. These include common prepositions like di (in, at), ke (to), dari (from), dengan (with), and untuk (for) among others. Mastery of these prepositional phrases will facilitate better understanding and use of the Malay language.
