Possessive pronouns in Croatian grammar are just as prevalent and important as they are in many other languages. They are used to express possession or ownership of an object, person, or place and provide a way to show relationships between nouns. Croatian possessive pronouns change their forms in accordance with gender, number, and case they refer to. In Croatian, the possessive pronouns usually come before the noun, and their endings help to denote the noun’s gender, number (singular or plural), and case (Nominative, Genitive, Dative, Accusative, Vocative, Locative, and Instrumental).
