Possessive Pronouns in Afrikaans Grammar
In Afrikaans grammar, possessive pronouns show ownership or possession of something, such as “my”, “your”, or “his/her”. They are important for understanding relationships between people or things. Possessive pronouns in Afrikaans are usually placed before the noun they modify. As with other pronouns in the language, they must agree in gender and number with the noun they refer to, but unlike English, Afrikaans possessive pronouns do not have gender distinctions.
