The Perfect Progressive tense in Thai grammar, is employed to denote an action that began in the past and has continued up until the present moment. Unlike in English where we insert words like “has been” or “have been”, Thai employs a structure that includes the word “ยัง” (still) to indicate that an action is ongoing. Combined with past tense markers, it forms the Perfect Progressive tense.
