Interactive digital session of language grammar exercises

The Past Perfect Progressive, also known as the Past Perfect Continuous tense, doesn’t exist as a separate tense in Hungarian just as other Slavic languages. However, it can be expressed by different means, most commonly by using the past tense in combination with the aspect of the verb or with time adverbs. This combination emphasizes that the action had been going on continuously or regularly before another past action.
