In Urdu Grammar, Past Continuous, also known as “Past Indefinite,” is used to describe an action that was happening at a specific time in the past. It is generally formulated by adding “tha” (for masculine singular), “the” (for masculine plural), “thi” (for feminine singular), and “thien” (for feminine plural) at the end of a verb stem. Learning to use the Past Continuous correctly is vital for expressing yourself in Urdu, and practicing with sentences is one of the best ways to learn.
