Noun Cases in Kazakh grammar are quite distinct compared to English. Kazakh has seven noun cases: Nominative, Genitive, Dative, Accusative, Locative, Ablative and Instrumental, and each case has a specific ending that modifies the noun. These endings can indicate the role of the noun in the sentence, for example, whether it’s the subject, the object, or indicates possession, location, direction, and means. This puts a layer of complexity over Kazakh grammar learning, but however, it also provides explicit information about the structure of sentences.
