The Romanian language, just like any other, contains a significant number of irregular verbs. These are verbs that do not follow the standard rule of formation in their conjugation. They vary from tense to tense and from person to person, often changing the verb’s stem as well. This idiosyncrasy can challenge language learners, but with consistent practice, one can master them fluently. Luckily, the Romanian language doesn’t have as many irregular verbs as other languages, but the ones that exist are commonly used.
