Interrogative sentences in Kannada grammar are sentences that allow us to ask questions. Just as in English, Kannada uses specific words and sentence structures to frame questions. These words include ‘what’, ‘why’, ‘where’, ‘when’, ‘how’ etc., which in Kannada are ‘เฒเฒจเณ'(Yenu), ‘เฒฏเฒพเฒเณ’ (Yaake), ‘เฒเฒฒเณเฒฒเฒฟ’ (Yelli), ‘เฒฏเฒพเฒตเฒพเฒ’ (Yaavaaga), ‘เฒนเณเฒเณ'(Hege) respectively. Understanding and using these structures can significantly improve one’s fluency in Kannada language.
