Interrogative pronouns are a crucial part of Persian (Farsi) grammar. These pronouns are used to ask questions, hence the term “interrogative”. Similar to many other languages, Persian interrogative pronouns vary depending on the gender, number and case of the noun they’re referring to. Some common Persian interrogative pronouns include ‘Che’ (What), ‘Ke’ (Who), ‘Kodām’ (Which), ‘Chand’ (How many) and ‘Chegune’ (How). This exercise aims to familiarize you with the usage and application of various Persian interrogative pronouns in everyday conversations and formal writings.
