Imperative Exercises For Czech Grammar

Exercise 1: Fill in the blanks with the appropriate imperative form of the verb

The Imperative in Czech grammar is used to give commands, make requests, and give advice. In Czech, the imperative form is created by taking the verb stem and adding specific endings depending on the person and number. The endings for the 2nd person singular are usually “-(i)j” and for the 2nd person plural, they are “-(i)te” or “-(ě)te”. There are also irregular verbs that don’t follow these rules. In this exercise, you will practice using the imperative form of Czech verbs.
