Demonstrative adjectives in Belarusian grammar are used to indicate specific objects, people, or places in relation to the speaker and listener. They can be translated as “this,” “that,” “these,” and “those” in English. In Belarusian, there are two sets of demonstrative adjectives: one for objects close to the speaker (напрыклад, “this”), and one for objects farther away from the speaker (напрыклад, “that”). They also have to agree with the gender and number of the noun they modify.
