Declarative sentences in Swahili grammar are used to make statements or express opinions. They are the most common type of sentences in Swahili and can be either positive or negative. A declarative sentence can also be either simple or complex, depending on the information it conveys. The structure of Swahili declarative sentences normally follows the subject-verb-object order, just like in English.
