Common Nouns in Polish grammar, also known as “rzeczownik”, are the basic starting point for anyone learning Polish. These are words used to represent people, entities, objects, and places. Unlike English, Polish nouns are complex and subject to change according to its gender, number (singular or plural), and case (there are 7 cases in Polish: Nominative, Genitive, Dative, Accusative, Instrumental, Locative, and Vocative). Therefore, it is crucial to practice using and recognizing them in sentences. For our exercise, we will be focusing on the basic singular form of some common nouns.
