Abstract Nouns in Urdu Grammar are referred to as ‘Mafoom-e-taaliq’ and they represent states, conditions, concepts or feelings that cannot be touched or seen. These nouns are not tangible and do not represent any physical object. Urdu abstract nouns can be derived from verbs, adjectives or common nouns. They hold a significant importance in Urdu grammar as they provide the ability to express complex ideas and feelings concretely.
