Adverbs - Lithuanian Grammar

Adverbs are an essential part of Lithuanian grammar, they portray manner, time, degree, and frequency of action. They are flexible, as they can be used with verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs. One interesting feature in Lithuanian is the flexibility with word order, which is often leveraged with adverbs.

To master the use of adverbs, several exercises are prescribed. First, a simple exercise involving sentence completion, where students fill in the blanks with suitable adverbs. This helps them recognize which adverb suits a particular context.
