Present Perfect Progressive, or “Şimdiki Zamanın Bitmiş Hali”, is used in Turkish grammar to express an action that started in the past and continues up to the present or the action that has just finished at the time of speaking. This tense is formed with the verb root, a special tense suffix, and the personal suffixes. Unlike English, the duration of the action or the exact start time may not always be mentioned in Turkish.
