”Let’s start the meeting,” he proposed. -> He proposed that they *should* (modal) start the meeting.
”Don’t forget to check the oil,” the mechanic advised. -> The mechanic advised not to *forget* (verb) to check the oil.
”I have never seen that movie,” she admitted. -> She admitted that she *had* (verb) never seen that movie.
”We will help you,” they offered. -> They offered to *help* (verb) me.
”Could you repeat that?” he requested. -> He requested that I *could* (modal) repeat that.
