I det engelska språket är past progressive (eller past continuous) en viktig aspekt av grammatiken som används för att beskriva händelser eller handlingar som pågick vid en viss punkt i det förflutna. Detta tempus används ofta när vi vill betona att en handling var långvarig eller för att ställa den i kontrast till en annan handling som inträffade vid samma tidpunkt. För att bilda past progressive använder vi hjälpverbet ”was” eller ”were” följt av huvudverbet med ett ”-ing” tillägg.
Dessa övningar är speciellt framtagna för att förbättra förståelsen och användningen av past progressive i engelska.
