In the Armenian language, comparative adjectives are used to show the comparison between two or more things or people. Similar to English, the general structure is to use the word « more » in conjunction with the adjective. Though some common adjectives have irregular comparative forms. In Armenian, the word « ավելի » (aveli) is used as « more » in combination with other adjectives to form the comparative degree.
