Present Progressive Exercises For Slovak Grammar

Partnered learning with cooperative grammar exercises

The present progressive tense in Slovak grammar is used to express an action that is currently happening. Unlike in English, the present progressive in Slovak is formed simply, without auxiliary verbs, by adding a special ending “-Ășce” or “-iace” to the verb root. However, it is important to remember that this form is less commonly used in spoken Slovak.
