Twee van<\/a> deze woorden zijn “capital”<\/b> en “capitol”<\/b>. Het is essentieel om het verschil tussen deze twee te begrijpen, niet alleen om je woordenschat te verbeteren, maar ook om fouten in zowel schrijven als spreken te voorkomen. Hoe onthoud je het verschil?<\/h3>\n

Een eenvoudige manier om deze twee woorden uit elkaar te houden, is door te kijken naar de laatste letters. “Capital” heeft een “al”<\/b> aan het<\/a> einde, wat je kan helpen herinneren dat het meerdere algemene betekenissen heeft. Aan de andere kant eindigt “capitol” met “ol”<\/b>, wat je kan doen denken aan de ovale vorm van het Capitool gebouw in de VS.<\/p>\n
