De Franse taal staat vol met kleurrijke uitdrukkingen en idiomatische uitdrukkingen die vaak een rijke historische achtergrond hebben. In dit artikel zullen we enkele populaire Franse idiomen<\/a> verkennen en hun betekenis uitleggen voor Nederlandstaligen die hun kennis van het Frans<\/a> willen verrijken.<\/p>\n

Casser sa pipe<\/b>
\nDit idioom betekent letterlijk ‘zijn pijp breken’, maar figuurlijk wordt het gebruikt om te<\/a> zeggen dat iemand is overleden. Het is vergelijkbaar met de Nederlandse<\/a> uitdrukking ‘de pijp uitgaan’.
