Om je excuses op een gepaste manier aan te bieden, is het belangrijk dat je ook je lichaamstaal en toon aanpast. De Duitsers waarderen directheid en eerlijkheid, dus het is beter om open en oprecht te zijn over je fout en je bereidheid om het goed te maken. Gebruik de bovenstaande zinnen om je excuses aan te bieden en vergeet niet om, indien mogelijk, een oplossing of compensatie aan te bieden voor het probleem dat je hebt veroorzaakt.<\/p>\n

Een klein, maar belangrijk detail: het gebruik van ‘du’ of ‘Sie’ bij het maken van je excuses hangt af van je relatie met de persoon en de formeelheid van de situatie. ‘Du’ wordt gebruikt in informele situaties en tussen vrienden of collega\u2019s die dat soort relatie met elkaar hebben. ‘Sie’ wordt gebruikt als teken van respect, in formele situaties of wanneer men iemand niet goed kent<\/a>.
